What
does a Changed Life look like? To relate to something that we can
understand, a soldier that has lost limbs in a tour of duty experiences a
changed life. A person that has had a stroke experiences a changed life. A
family that has lost a father/provider experiences a changed life.
The
change that scripture implies though is a spiritual change. This change is
most noticeable when one ceases to be a taker, and becomes a giver. But
with that change of behavior there is an accompanying change in countenance.
One
of the first things that is noticeable is an occasional genuine smile when
once there was but a forced grin.
Then
too, there is an unexpected display of courtesy, and gradually a change in
language patterns and their vocabulary. So many of the physical and
psychological changes are induced through outside influence. Spiritual
change truthfully only occurs from inside, and grows outward. I pray for
the leaders of these riots and looting rampages.
The
Bible says, "Teacher beware", and these throngs are being
taught to rebel against all authority, against laws, against standards,
purely and simply against anything that they did not think of. 90% of these
throngs have no clue what they are advocating for or against.
They
are proving that if you do not stand for something, you will fall for
anything, People do follow those that are in positions of
authority. Not because they are told to, but because of the example set
before them.
CONSIDER
our current legislative structure. The gang of eight are supposed to
provide the leadership for the 535 representatives and senators. Unfortunately,
there are 4 freshmen that are influencing and impacting decision-making in
the house, three house members so focused on impeachment of whoever they
disagree with, and only one of them is part of the gang. Then there is the
senate. One party is in the majority, but most of the legislation requires
60 or more votes, so forget it.
If "We
the People", the silent majority make a mistake on NOV. 3, 2020
the oval office will become a puppet stage, the far-left socialists will be
puppeteers, and the liberal press will be so sweet, sickeningly sweet.
THAT
folks will be another demonstration of changed lives. Statues are being torn down now, for the
stated purpose of doing away with any remembrance of slavery. But the ones
directing this destruction are dedicated to enslaving America.
Think
about this, we are not being governed by those we have democratically
elected; we are being run over by Anarchists with every intent to dominate
and enslave through domination.
I am
not a judge, but I have studied the rule book, and I serve the one true
Judge. Both sides of this issue need to wake up. It is appointed unto man
once to die, and after that the judgment.
Be
blessed,
Mel
