Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) There is a way
which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death.
INTRODUCTION
Our President
(Trump) campaigned on "Making America Great Again". This submission
and all my associated efforts are directed to sharing that the means of
accomplishing that is by making AMERICANS great again.
The purpose of this
offering is to welcome you to the new normal. Far distant from what God
planned. A way that seemeth right began with two-income families,
day-care or latch-key children, every possible expression of free moral agency.
As a result, we saw
prayer taken out of the schools, the Ten Commandments removed from public
buildings, and then accelerated abandonment to drugs, drink, sex, and the pursuit of fulfillment by any means. Now, that fulfillment is expressed in the pursuit of violent anti-social protesting, rioting, looting, the removal of our
historic monuments and defacing, or burning legislative or policing structures.
Though no one wants
to believe it, this decay in moral accountability began with the disruption of
the home after World War II, but too may are too young to remember that.
This voice has been
silent too long and is sounding out to call all that we can reach to action.
To the restoration of morality, respect, reverential awe of this great history,
and the acknowledgment that individual greatness must begin in the home.
It appears that the virus pandemic is quarantining us in the home for a
reason.
We are being forced
into isolation. While we were intended to be a social society. Our youth are in
a state of flux (school or no school), but not every household is equipped to
deliver formal educational mandates at home, on their own.
Our immediate focus
though is on the millions of unemployed, or worse yet the many more millions
of under-employed. And. their sense of desperation with regard to the lack of resources
or the means of attaining workplace skills.
I have written a
series of books entitled "If it is going to be, it is up to me"
providing a Do It Yourself (DIY) action plan for a self-directed career
pursuit, and an offer of provision or assistance in sourcing. Please consider
the Biblical Foundation laid before the creation of this earth (and the
following scriptures and elaboration), and assist me in directing a return to
personal accountability, for skillful performance in the workplace (yes), the
community (yes), and their lifestyle.
I cannot tell you
how difficult it is to convince publishers to publish what you write the way
you write.
So, I deem the
messages of these blogposts of enough importance that they need to be shared
from the heart, and the way they were written, not watered down to make them
politically correct, and thus, without impact.
I am 86 this year,
and I have seen more mistakes and made more mistakes than most of you, and I
am attempting to share what God has revealed to me as we lived through those
many mistakes so you do not have to make the same ones.
That is what is so
horrific about the demolishing of historical monuments and reputations, anyone
that cannot review the past, is destined to repeat it. Folks, the church,
those that have not only professed but have submitted to the Lordship and The leadership of the Christ Jesus, have been silent too long.
I don’t advise disruption,
or open resistance (they are arresting homeowners now for displaying a weapon
to defend their own property); I advise exercising the one power we still have,
possibly for the last time this next election.
We need to contact
virtually everyone we know, or even have passing contact with and encourage
them to vote their personal conscience. However, to vote their conscience, they
need to do some research and understand the consequences of each choice.
The one issue that
we need to advocate for and start a grass-roots movement to fuel the initiative
is term limits. The leaders of the House of Representatives and Senate have
legislated “TERM LIMITS” for every elected office but their own. We
Americans will never have a representative government as long as there are only
535 decision-makers, or as long as 8 old-timers and 4 freshmen can rule the
nation, and promote such chaos.
This series of
posts are entitled “Why should we care?”, and although I have 9 posts ready to
submit, one each week, there is a simple answer to that question. God gave his
followers “dominion” over every living thing. I am sounding the alarm to wake the church
up; we have become lax at maintaining personal accountability for caring for
the earth that God has given us. Isn’t that our reason for being?
Till next time,
Mel
