We have become a society of animals,
all in the name of love. The truth is the driving force in our lives, is lust. The fulfillment of fleshly appetites. I am not a preacher, but I do believe in the owner’s manual for human life, provided by our Creator.
I also know from more than 65 years
of inter-personal relationships in the manufacturing arena that we must get
along with many people we do not like. That takes Godly Love, not human
lust. It is lust that draws our attention to the attractive, the talented,
the flirtatious, and the frivolous. It takes the love of God to accept humanity at the level of their choice.
To have a satisfaction of having done
something of value though, it takes more than we can muster on our own
initiative, by reason of our own resolve. It takes compassion, that is inherent
in a total submission to the teachings of the Master Teacher, the Christ.
We, humans are created beings,
created in the spiritual likeness of God, created for a purpose in this
physical world, and instructed to care for all of creation (given dominion
over every living thing). Above all else, we were charged with the responsibility
of caring for one another, all of our human peers.
They are not just people, and they
are not intended to live separated or isolated, or avoided. We were
designed to be social, and to care for one another. Like it or not, "Everyone
is entitled to their personal opinion, but there is no such thing as
personal fact".
If we want to be healthy, and live
good lives, attaining a ripe old age, and enjoying the essentials while
being with family and friends, we must read the book. Then listen to those that have read the
book and can testify to its validity with regard to daily life; And, Love
(Serve) thy neighbor as thyself.
